KD's Comprehensive Co-op Vynthra Guide

Additional Notes

Additional Notes

  • Buildings spread Biomass; Cultivators and bases spread the most

  • Harvesters can spawn a Cultivator on Biomass

    • Harvesters spread Biomass beneath themselves; waiting 3–4 seconds is enough to provide cover for spawning a Cultivator

  • Seedlings move significantly slower off Biomass

  • Seedlings spawn automatically, with a cap of 5 active Seedlings per base

  • Seedlings are more fragile than other builders

  • Consider sending a Seedling toward your expansion early if you plan to secure it before Nourishment Pod is off cooldown

  • Consider infusing a Seedling so it arrives faster on maps such as Siege and Frozen Watch

  • Nourishment Pods make acceptable walls and heal nearby units and structures

  • Biomass reduces damage taken by 25%, including for buildings

  • Biomass also increases the health regeneration of units standing on it

  • If one of your Flux Harvesters is being attacked while harvesting, use its Spawn Cultivator ability

  • This will distract the enemy and the biomass will reduce the damage it takes

#@ Defense Tips

  • Make good use of the Cultivator's small size; use rows of two when needed

  • Nourishment Pods can tank and heal in a surprisingly wide radius

  • Remember that Biomass reduces damage taken

  • On Iron Shield, 2 Nourishment Pods and 3 Cultivators can reliably handle defense outside special attack waves. One Nourishment Pod can work, but may be riskier depending on the enemy composition
